Life Lately
Life lately has been kind of a whirl. And while so many fun changes are coming our way, I have been
reluctant to document any of it because I foolishly feel like I can never forget it. So... thus far in
2015 I have started to trek through my last semester of my undergrad, Cam and I both got jobs in
Seattle (on the same day!) and we've spent a college-kid sized fortune on a new car and a new
apartment. And as much as I hate to admit it, I've really been letting the stresses of moving get to me
and have found myself constantly apologizing for throwing little fits.
Cam has been such a trooper though. Even after listening to me complain all day he washes the
dishes and vacuums the house without me even asking. And on top of that, on the few days that I
have actually cooked dinner, he has been so good about showing me gratitude and making me feel
good. Humbling moments all over the place lately. Ha.
So today my little family and I hiked R mountain and took some time to just unwind and play.
These boys are best buds and my whole life.
Just a few months ago our pup was too afraid to even jump off of the couch because he was just too
little. Today he was climbing and jumping off of everything and having the time of his life! On the
way back to the car though, we came to this little crevice and immediately he started to
whine and look to us for help and for a second looked just like that little pup that I sometimes miss so
much. Needless to say after a couple seconds he manned up and ran down the rocks. But seriously
little moments like that make my heart melt!
Gosh. I'm so obsessed with this dog, I can't even imagine what it will be like to have a little babe. In
like three years from now of course. HA
P.S. Cam's friends are over playing Madden right now and talking about a girl. They have decided
that it's cute if a girl farts as long as they are dainty farts.
P.P.S. The quote, "I mean she's cute but I made out with her cousin." was also mentioned in the past
hour. Hahaha these boys:)
