A Bliss List (No. III - A Father's Day Weekend Edition)

1. The guy at Albertsons giving me a free soda because I broke one (and got it all over everything). I was super embarrassed and offered to pay for it, but instead he threw it away and grabbed another one. He probably just wanted me to get out of the store, but he was very nice about it. HA
2. Watching Million Dollar Listing with the hubs. I had been watching for a couple of hours and Ryan's fiance was debating whether to call off their engagement in order to take a job in another country or to stay in NYC and get married. But, it was waaay past our bedtime so I finally turned it off and Cam (who I didn't realize was even paying much attention to the show) just looks at me and says, "But wait! Is she going to Geneva??" HAHA
3. Cameron feeling like a NASCAR driver and going 95MPH down the freeway...

... and then getting this

The ticket wasn't the best news in the world, but the police officer took the speeding penalty down from reckless driving to just "20 over in a 40+ zone." We'll take it.
4. The fact that Cameron officially is the worse driver out of the two of us (on paper).
5. HERSCHEL. Because I can't post anything without a shout out to the worlds cutest and greatest and funniest and most loving dog in the whole wide world. This morning I was trying to sleep after Cam left for work and Hersch climbed into bed and started nudging my shoulder until I got up and played with him. I'm not even mad about it.

6. Watching the boys play basketball while snapchatting Megan. I absolutely love watching them because it's always Cameron saying, "Okay, here's the rules..." and Kordell saying, "What do you wanna bet?" Then out of the silence comes Kyson and he slays them both. HA just kidding, but he is good and definitely the only one that doesn't rely on trash-talking to win.

7. Backyard Bonfires. On Friday night we all just hung out and talked about why Paul is a great father and took selfies and ate s'mores and listened to country music and it was just a good time. I am constantly overwhelmed by how much I love my in-laws. I have completely just become part of their family and I am just really grateful for that and for them.
8.  The fact that Cam seriously loves his siblings. No matter what, I never doubt this about him. And it is adorbs.

9. Clay pigeon shooting contests.
10. Cam buying an actual trophy for Kyson for winning the clay pigeon shooting contest. It says, "The Boehning Family Champion: Shotgun Shooting" and I truly hope to have it in our home one day. Get on it, Cam.

11. Accepting the fact that my sis-in-law is way more cute and talented that I will ever be. And loving her anyways;) After only seeing her a handful of times, we have become close friends. I can't wait to see her next week and finally get Sonic milkshakes together.

12. The ultimate game of 20 Questions on the way home. It went a little something like this:
Cam: Is it a thing?
Me: Nope.
Cam: Is it a person?
Me: Yes!
Cam: Is it a girl?
Me: Oh, Uhh..
Cam: Is it Caitlin Jenner?
HAHA I was thinking of Bruce Jenner and I didn't know what to say and it was probably one of the best moments of the entire weekend.

13. Lastly, I am so grateful for my own dad. My best childhood memories are of fishing trips and Christmas mornings with him. When I was little we would play the game, "Get the Piece of Paper" and it was probably so dumb but, man, he played it with me endlessly because I loved it. And now, 21 years later, he is one of my closest friends. Whether it's advice that I need or just a person to rant to, he is, and always has been, there for me. 100%. Life wouldn't be as full without my dad pushing me to be my best self, and accepting all of my faults and imperfections. Thank you for your example dad, and thank you for showing me, every day, how to fight for what I want and what I need. I love you, always.
